Cannon Library Operational Update Effective Jan 19
- Inside visits will resume on Tuesday, Jan 19.
- Monday - Thursday from 10am-3pm
- Friday - Saturday from 10am-2pm
- How to prepare for your inside visit
- Maximum capacity 20 patrons
- Face covering required
- Maintain physical distance
- Wash or sanitize hands upon entry
- Keep visit brief/30 minutes
- No food or beverages
- Return materials in the external drop box

- How to request materials:
- Place a hold in the library catalog: https://accc.ent.sirsi.net/client/en_US/cannon/
- How to pick-up materials:
- A library staff member will call you to schedule a time for pick-up.
- Pick-up will be Monday – Thursday between 10am-3pm and Friday – Saturday between 10am-2pm.
- You may be required to present your ID at pick-up.
- Call (575)784-2786 when you arrive in the main library parking lot.
- A staff member will place your materials on a cart outside of the main entrance.
- How to return materials:
- Return books, audiobooks, video games, and DVDs at any time using the drop box located in the main library parking lot.
- Oversized materials and electronic devices may be returned at the main library entrance by appointment.
- How to request a library card:
- E-mail the active duty member’s name and rank 27sow.library@us.af.mil.
- The digital collection is always available.
- How to access resources:
- Click “Manage Your Account”
- Click, “Log In” (located at top right corner)
- Enter your library card number and pin number
- Click the banner, “For e-books, magazines, newspapers...”
- Click “Online Databases (Cannon)” on left side of the screen
