Cannon Library Operational Update Effective Jul 13

  • How to contact the library:
  • How to print:
    • Email your file to
    • Include a telephone number and printing instructions: how many copies, color ($.25/page) or black/white ($.10/page), single or double sided
    • A staff member will contact you to schedule pick-up
    • Exact payment will be necessary
  • How to 3D print:
    • Call or email a library staff member to arrange drop-off of your USB drive.
    • A staff member will print your project and contact you for pick-up.
  • How to request materials:
  • How to pick-up materials:
    • Pick-up of materials is available by appointment Mon-Sat from 10am.-4pm.
    • Call 575-784-2786 from the parking lot at your appointment time.
    • A staff member will place materials on the cart outside the main entrance.
    • Once the staff member is inside the building you are welcome to pick-up materials.
    • If you have materials to return, please place them in the drop box located in the parking lot. Oversized materials and tablets may be placed on the bottom shelf of the cart.
  • How to return materials:
    • Return books, audiobooks, video games, and DVDs at any time using the drop box located in the main library parking lot.
    • Oversized materials, tablets, puzzles, boardgames and other kits may be returned at the main library entrance by appointment.
    • Please don't leave materials outside of the building without first arranging drop off.
    • Returned materials will be quarantined for 7 days before check in.

    • How to access resources:
      • Click “Manage Your Account”
      • Click, “Log In” (located at top right corner)
      • Enter your library card number and pin number
      • Click the banner, “For e-books, magazines, newspapers...”
      • Click “Online Databases (Cannon)” on left side of the screen

gives users the ability to manipulate and explore 3D interactive models, allowing students to visualize and understand concepts in biology, chemistry, earth and space science. Reference and periodical content provide additional context for further understanding.
